Did you know:

• Booking your flight through your cruise company can save you untold dollars and trouble if your flight should be delayed and arrive after your ship has left?  Cruise lines will go to almost any length to get you (or your misplaced luggage) to the ship if you're unavoidably held up.  If you've booked directly through the airline, however, you could be on your own and lose the cruise you've paid for.

• You may want to avoid those 'bargain' September Caribbean cruises unless you're the extremely adventurous type.  Reason: it's hurricane season.
